NEW SHOT ADDED: "3 Long Rails" - There's a shot we shoot in professional competition where you must bank an object ball 3 cushions into the side pocket, using only the long rails. I decided to play around with a 3 cushion kick shot using only the long rails and a fair amount of reverse english. Check out this fun shot and try it later.

NEWEST SHOT ADDED: I created a new shot recently. Timing shots, aka reposition shots, are a lot of fun. In a game of eight ball with a friend, I saw in my mind a creative and exciting shot for the eightball. I shot it and missed because it was a really hard shot. However, I knew the concept was possible I just had to perfect several aspects of the shot for it to work. To make a long story short, 10 minutes later I was filming the video you are about to see. This is Yow's Reposition Eight Ball Timing Shot! In this one, I double bank the eightball to reposition near the bottom left corner. All the while the cueball coming off the eight travels three rails to tap in the eight. I think it's awesome, but maybe it's just me. What do you think?

NEW BANK SHOT ADDED - I filmed a bank shot that I call "The Bank Launch". Here I use the one ball as a launch to send the cue ball over a wall. Basically I bank the one, launch over the wall of balls, and pocket the nine in the corner all in one 'easy-looking' shot. You're sure to be impressed!

This is a shot I call the Bank Race. Here, I shoot thin the Five, which is frozen to the One. The Five sends the One towards the corner to be pocketed, but the Five races it and beats it there. All the while the Cue Ball wants to be part of the race. It beats them both around the table, in the end, to pocket the Three. Nice shot, I think.

This one is a bank jump. See from the pic that the one can't bank straight into the corner because of the two blocker balls. If you shoot it just right, you can jump the cue into the one, which jumps and hits the rail above center, sending it sailing over the blockers to the side. Watch and see...

Next is a bank/kick. Looking at the pic, you'd never guess I make the ball in the pocket nearest me. Can you guess how?
