Raised to maintain the highest level of integrity and only the strongest of work ethic, Eric Yow has committed his career and work to the benefit of Montgomery County. Growing up in a conservative Christian church, Yow developed a strong faith and a unique dedication to the people around him. He has since used his positive disposition and multitude of talents in a variety of capacities to serve his community, raising money for numerous charitable organizations, serving on a variety of boards, and even starting a local nonprofit to bless the citizens of Montgomery County.
In 2020, Yow received the City of Clarksville Mayor's Certificate for Servant Leadership and Ongoing Sacrifice.
Yow is currently Senior Partner at Goble & Yow, Attorneys PLLC, where his practice focuses on Criminal Defense Law. Yow was recently voted "Best of the Best - Criminal Defense Law" in VIP Clarksville Magazine, 2021. He is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice over the last fourteen years has been predominately in General Sessions and Circuit Court, in criminal, family, civil, and juvenile matters. Yow stands out as a reputable attorney, successful businessman, and generous mentor in Clarksville Montgomery County.
Initially acquiring a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies at Freed-Hardeman University (2003, Cum Laude), Yow went on to the University of Memphis School of Law, where he received his law degree in 2007. He moved to Clarksville in the summer of 2007, which has been home ever since. From 2007 to 2014, Yow pastored a rural church outside of Clarksville. He is married to Erin Yow, Director of Preschools for Clarksville Christian School and Director of Hilldale Christian Childcare Center. They have two daughters, Emmalyn and Elyza Grace, both students of Clarksville Christian School. The Yows are active members of the Trenton Crossing Church of Christ.
